Can I get Refunded from amazon as a seller for lost packages ?
I have had packages lost or damaged and unable to reach the customers, I have fully refunded the customers or paid for a new product to be shipped to them. Does anyone know if there is a policy where amazon is able to reimburse me for these packages? it seems like being a seller on their platform they would have some type of coverage for when incidents like these happen so that the seller does not have to eat the cost of every package lost or damaged. I would love to hear your thought on this and if anyone else knows anything about it or has delt with similar thing in the past.

If you purchase your shipping through Amazon's "Buy Shipping", then you are covered; but you must instruct the customer to file an A-Z with Amazon; you do not give the refund yourself. If you choose to refund instead of having the customer filing A-Z, then no, Amazon will not cover it.
If you purchase your shipping elsewhere, then it you are solely responsible for issuing any refunds for INR claims.

As @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwsaid, if you purchase Amazon's Buy Shipping and ship on time, you are protected against A-to-z guarantee claims where a customer reports problems with delivery. Amazon will cover the cost of these claims and they will not affect your Order Defect Rate.
