UPS lost 28 boxes in transit - FBA18TRKGS90 - Does Amazon reimburse?

Hello,

We booked a shipment with UPS (labels purchased on Amazon).

There are 1500+ products on this shipment.

28 boxes were in transit from our warehouse to FBA and the delivery was scheduled 1-2 days after it was picked up.

4-5 business days later, the tracking is not updating and it says ''delayed due to external causes''.

After calling UPS, it was suggested by the agent that our shipment could be lost.

Not sure how UPS can lose 28 boxes or lose track of an entire shipment, that is insane.

Normally, when we book outside of Amazon, there is the option of buying insurance so we get refunded at our cost of acquisition at the very least.

However, in this case, since the shipping labels were purchased from Amazon (UPS integrated), we did not have this option. What would be the outcome if the 1500 products never make it to the fulfillment center by UPS fault?

Will Amazon reimburse after we provide evidence, as they should?

samething here ." delayed due to external causes " since febuary 17th at "caledon ups spot " investigation for Amazon nothing before April 25th . Do you have the same issue at the same UPS spot ?

if your shipment is going to YOW3 then it is normal. usually parcels going to that fulfilment center is hold by UPS for some time and then delivered when there is room to accept new parcels. I found that it is the only fulfilment center that does this. It can be in this state for more than a week on some occasions
