Need Advice: Amazon Holding My Inventory and Payments for Over a Year

Hi everyone,

I’m in a frustrating situation with my Amazon seller account. My account was placed under review over a year ago, and since then, Amazon has locked my payments and inventory stored in their fulfillment centers. I decided not to proceed with their interview process, but they continue to hold my inventory without any resolution.

Here’s the inventory breakdown:

Multiple SKUs are marked as "Reserved," "Available (FBA)," or "Unfulfillable."

Some examples include SKUs like ZN-27RQ-51AF (Reserved), OJ-026I-UV40 (Available and Reserved), and 57-8O0M-XER2 (Unfulfillable).

Despite numerous attempts to resolve this, Amazon has not returned my inventory or released my funds. I believe they are holding my inventory illegally at this point. I’ve sent a formal request asking for the immediate return of my items and clarification about pending payments, but nothing has changed.

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? How can I compel Amazon to release my inventory and payments? Any advice or legal steps I should consider would be greatly appreciated.

If our team has concerns with the inventory or the activity associated with the account, they will be obligated to request more information be provided to them to verify your compliance. If you decide not to proceed in the process, then there may be the risk of the inventory not being released. This is due to the set up of our policies which does state they cannot release inventory without verifying that it is authentic and authorized for sale on this platform.

As for your funds, if the account has been impacted longer than 60 days, you should have the option to contact our disbursement team at disbursement-appeals@amazon.com to submit an official request. They will conduct an investigation of their own that must be completed to determine if the funds can be released.
