Brand Registry Barcode
Hi,
I’m preparing to apply for Amazon Brand Registry. I have a few questions I’d appreciate clarification on:
1. Is it mandatory for the product images submitted during Brand Registry application to include a visible barcode (UPC/EAN) on the packaging?
2. If a barcode is required, does it need to be permanently printed on the packaging, or is it acceptable to print a GS1-issued barcode and apply it as a sticker to the product packaging?
3. Can I apply for GTIN exemption before registering my brand, or do I need to complete Brand Registry first before being eligible for a GTIN exemption?
