Transaction Type: OTHER - Cases transferred and No Reply

There have been a couple of charges to our account on 06/27/24 in the amount of $887.70

and on 06/29/24 in the amount of $357.54

The transaction types show as OTHER but there is no detail about the charges when clicked on the amount.

Would you please specify what these charges are for?

I have created two cases and the status is Transferred, but there is no response. Case ID: 15562572801 & 15521263411,

I need your help, thanks.

Have you checked performance notifications? it may be related with any IP Infringement case.

I had one for $18 i 6/25 they keep telling me no supervisors are available to talk to, the payments team only answers through email and now it has been transferred 4 times since.

Your issue could have been written by me, same scenario, just a different $ amount, $28.24. I created a case about 3x for this, finally it was transferred 2x, on June 18 & June 30, never to be heard from again. WHY?? I simply would like to know what the charge is for. Is that asking too much?? It says something abut Canada, I don't even sell in Canada. Any advise?

@Connor_Amazon

Everyone is talking about this. There are at least twelve threads about it. Seller support does not answer or they "escalate" (yeah right). Something needs to be done here.

Same here. Amazon took $216 under "other" and won't respond. They simply "transfer" the case and never answer. If I owe money for something then tell me what it is. If not, then refund my money. Maybe other affected sellers need to connect and get the Attorney General to investigate. You can't just take sellers money with NO explanation and expect all of us to just accept this. Amazon, are you listening???

Download your transaction view statement here:

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/payments/past-settlements?ref_=xx_settle_ttab_trans

Select the date range that matches your settlement period. It will download as a flatfile that you will need to open with a with spreadsheet application such as Excel (not a notepad app). Sort it by the "transaction-type column". This will group all similar transactions together. Scroll down until you until you get to the "others". This will give you the associated order IDs and what Amazon claims the charges are for.

Usually it's some sort of supposed shipping charges. Such as the dimensions or weight didn't match what you entered. You'll also got robbed with returns if A) the package details on the product listing do not match what you really use (and I don't don't mean what you entered when you bought the label, I mean what it says on the actual listing such as 1x1x1 1lb) or B) if the customer uses their own gigantic box instead of the appropriately sized box that you used to ship.

They try the best to obfuscate and hide the information. I'm not saying that these charges are necessarily legit, just saying where you can normally find what they are claiming they are for.

Hello @Seller_pjL0vVjYkYSRA- thanks for surfacing this experience, and for indicating in the comments that there's no Performance Notifications that seems to be tied to the charges.

I think @Seller_hnKu5Y8FFUG3l's guidance on using the downloaded transaction view statement and investigating further in excel is a great suggestion, and might help provide some clarity.

While you investigate there, I did also surface this situation internally to request some review and assistance. I'll keep you informed via this thread as I receive an update, but keep an eye on your case log as well over the coming days.
