You may be approaching things in the wrong way. To do what you want buying some prime-time TV advertising or creating your own infomercial will work. It will get the word out to potential buyers.

Trying to start selling a unique product using the Amazon site is a long and uphill battle. The vast majority of successful Amazon sellers know the secret of the site. Don't try and reinvent the wheel by selling something new, simply sell products that buyers want and need.

Remember, things are meant to be confusing on purpose. Amazon is a for profit company and does not make any profit from the buyers. Amazon's profit comes from how much money they can extract from each buyer. FBA's never-ending fees, and selling advertising bring in hundreds of thousands of profit every day.

Now with that said, buy your own website. Go to Host Gator and buy your own domain "luckyfamilyshopping". Is costs only $12.95 per year. Do it quickly, because when another reader of this sees it. they will buy it and sell it back to you for $500.

When you own that, your name will be all over the web because Host Gater puts it there for free. NO ADVERTISING Fees. All the tools are there to create your own web page, and even add a store if you want. You can even ad a link to direct buyers to to your Amazon site.

Hi @Seller_5icg0KPScesT9,

Thanks for posting about this on the forums. You are not the only seller who has asked about how to get started here.

It's important to remember that new products can sometimes take time to ramp up, especially when selling in an e-commerce space. There is a lot to discover when shopping online. However, there are ways to help set your products up for success. Below are some of the best practices I always suggest sellers try to adopt:

1. Ensure all the information you would find on a physical product is present (e.g. sizing, dimensions, materials, etc.). You have to remember that the product is not right in front of the customer as they are shopping on Amazon. Be sure to fill in any informational gaps utilizing your detail page. If a customer doesn't understand your product, they may decide to pass on it.

2. Optimize your search terms to ensure relevancy in your category. This is how customers will discover your products while they are browsing and searching for things. Be sure you are utilizing terms that make sense for your product and increase the likelihood of surfacing your product in search.

3. Enhance your detail pages once you have the basics down. As I stated in point 1, the product is not physically in front your customers. These enhancements will further help to educate your customers on the benefits of your product. A well done detail page can also help set you apart from competitors and create more trust with customers.
