Amazon warehouse double counted my inventory

Hi, the Amazon warehouse double counted the inventory I sent in. I sent about 500 units and they located 1000. I've opened 2 Amazon cases with multiple messages each, an Amazon recheck of inventory (or so they say), and still no luck with fixing it. The shipment is now closed after the first case I opened. Seems like this will cause huge issues soon for customers and in many other ways for me and Amazon.

It's simple to see it was double counted because I sent many different SKUs and all show up as twice the amount I sent. Anyone been in the situation and have a fix?

I don't think it's a matter of sending any proof to Amazon because they didn't count short, this inventory doesn't exist. Also, the size of each unit times 1000 would not fit in the size of the bigger shipping box used either, that's the second simple way to understand these it's impossible for the units to be in the shipment.

Whenever I try to call Amazon or use the chat feature it doesn't let me connect so I'm out of options.

Thank you for any assistance here.
