how can I get orders to be processed the next day? "ship by"?

i can not for the life of me figure this out. I process orders about 5am and after that I would love orders to be able to be "ship by" the following day. However orders are still flowing in required to be shipped the same day.

I've tried everything, setting handling time to 5am, setting default handling time to 1 day, nothing changes it. The only thing that is working temporarily is setting a max order limit, once it's reached Amazon will add an additional day to process orders.

Is there anyway to fix this? Maybe I don't understand it? The default handling setting/time says it only works on 0-1 day listing. It doesn't matter if it's 0 or 1 day, it doesn't change anything! What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like you have "Same Day" checked in the shipping template assigned to the item. Make sure it is unchecked.

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to try to help. I was able to look into your account and I don't see anything on the shipping template that would be affecting this. Did you cut a ticket with Seller Support?
