GST hst registration
I'm selling on both Amazon US FBA and CA, and it was remote fulfilled from the US FBA warehouse (95%+ of sales coming from the US). I'm registering for GST/HST right now, but they are asking me to provide the actual annual worldwide and domestic GST/HST taxable sales.
1.Is selling on Amazon US considered worldwide GST/HST taxable sales? (I'm a bit confused and was wondering if GST/HST is related to US sales since I'm bringing goods directly from China to the US.)
2.I actually reached CAD 30k in the 2nd quarter, but I just realized that I need to register for GST/HST. If I'm registering now, will they ask me to pay GST/HST out of pocket for the 2nd quarter?
3.For annual sales, is that mean from 25-08-2023 to 25-08-2024? or from 01-Jan-2024?

1. Sales made from (and shipped to) outside of Canada are not GST/HST taxable. Which would be your case, since the product never enters Canada.
Sales shipped from Canada to the rest of the world have a GST/HST tax rate of 0% and qualify for any ITC that the Seller has for them (so the government might be refunding the Seller tax money).
