BIG PROBLEM with account Verification!
I found the giant problem with Amazon verifying accounts.
To route our payments it must use a "Routing Number".
Bank Statements DO NOT contain that routing number!
It is a safety concern. And we cannot enter out "Bank Account Number." as our routing number. Amazon cannot send funds to a bank account number. Only a routing number.
These are two different numbers entirely!
And no piece of paper exists that has our routing number and account information on it to prove this to Amazon.
Again, banks avoid this for a safety issue.
Is Amazon this blind, or is this on purpose?
I have asked my Credit Union to send such a document
and praying that jumps this impossible hurdle Amazon has created for us and their team.

All of your checks have the routing number and your checking account number. You could send them a picture of a voided check.

Routing numbers for banks are easily found on google. The routing number doesn't have to be on your statement. I am sure Amazon has a full list of banking routing numbers. The routing number is the address of the bank and the account number is for the deposit.

That can't be the issue because myself and so many others were able to "scan" a copy of our bank statement containing the last 6 digits of the Account Number with the correct name and address and it passed through easily.
They usually say what's wrong when it's not approved. Exactly what did they tell you was wrong with your submission.

You have a credit Union. So do we. You will need a statement from the bank that contains your bank account and routing info attached to your most recent bank statement. This will get you verified.
