Buy box glitch Again
buy box is broken again . Many sellers complaining about low sales or no sales. We are one of them .Ever since verifying account , gone from $5000+ a day to $200. Played around repricing and have to go $15 cheaper to win buy box to same competitors from last 15 years. Metrics good . if many sellers are complaining about this , we need one of the Amazon reps to step in and out ticket in to IT to fix asap .This is rediculous that this happens every other month .

Are you FBA or FBM?
I have read a few forum posts about BB for FBM needing to drop the price more in order for it to become available - which seems to be in line with what you are seeing that you need to price around $15 cheaper to win.

Here we thought we were the only ones. Just had a customer find us on another site saying the search here wasn't working properly. Not a good way to start the final quarter of business

Since Sat. noon, Featured Offer Eligible (Buy Box) changed from YES to NO. Since the weekend, we've been scraping the bottom of the barrel in sales -one, two per day. Awful!!
I suggest you check on your inventory pages, see if it says NO or YES and activate this display if you haven't already.
On a different forum where many of the old-timers from OSFE congregate, was informed AMZ has sent out an e-mail notice re: changing handling time to 1-day default ( we didn't receive). No opt out. Forced to change handling on each SKU to reflect anything but one day. Did any of ya'll get this recent e-mail?
Google this thread by a well-respected seller who no longer posts on NSFE :
Is buy box eligibility affected by Default Handling Time
While we've been fiddling w/ handling times, our FOE changed to YES late today. Only metric that wasn't 100% or 0 on previous account health- 98.5% OTDR when changed to NO. Supposedly not low enough to affect BUY BOX. Now it's returned to 100% and YES, might be part of the "hidden metrics" to which the quoted thread refers.

We have had the same problem starting In July of this year.

Same here. There's several reasons for this, and some are so revealing that likely would be removed should they be posted on this forum (let's remember, this is a strict, seller only, amazon Controlled, ai crunching, profile creating forum. So truth is what amazon's still primitive ai And the human monitors decide).
A major reason could be the lawsuit filed by the ftc in late Sept. There are several articles on that (from fake news outlets to truth reported ones), and this time they're all remarkably similar.
Another reason could be the increased minimum order for free shipping, plus the many free shipping days/weekends offered by other retailers, as well as amazon. Read on to see why.
It's reasonable to consider that the covid event drastically hurt the appeal of a Prime Membership since 2 day delivery was basically scrapped for a while. Maybe not as much in big cities but for most of the U.S. it surely did, and the base became somewhat accepting of that. Therefore, it also stands to reason that a significant percentage of those former members never renewed, and that's a problem amazon is trying to deal with, along with the many other seller related issues, scammers, poor policy decisions, etc. , typical when greed and arrogance unite, and a company, any company, becomes so monstrosuous, that it loses sight of it's beginnings. (and as for the greed part, I'm talking about the human nature of many of us sellers as well.. Ouch! - just trying to be honest here).
No one wants to work for amazon unless it's profitable. They've squeezed the mom and pop owners to the brink of extinction, (though they do love their newbies.. B.T. Barnum said it well), it seems now though, at least by these forums, that they've annexed some even higher ground, would that be accurate to say?
