A-to-z team does NOT follow rules on restocking fee policy.
The customer returned item after 30 days of receiving it. In addition, customer admitted he threw out original packaging. Lastly, the returned item was in poor condition. Amazon's restocking fee policy allows seller to deduct upto 50% from refund. A-to-z team ruled in customer's favour as seller-funded. Does A-to-z team ever follow Amazon's policy on restocking fee?

Hello @Seller_F0vWfrwVpZ8w6
Thank you very much for reaching out in Amazon forums, this is Lucre, and I'll be glad to assist.
I understand you're looking for assistance on your A to Z Claim, as the product in question was returned to you in poor condition and without the original packaging.
In this case, I recommend you to document the condition in which the product was returned to you, as well as the lack of the original packaging. You can do so by taking pictures and communicating this to the buyer through the buyer-seller messaging system and appeal again.
Please know that the Amazon restocking fee policy doesn't apply under the context of an A to Z Guarantee Claim and that's why the correct path to resolve is via the appeal option, in which you need to demonstrate why you shouldn't cover the complete refund.
Hope this works, if you need additional assistance please let me know, so I can help you further.
Regards,
Lucre_Amazon
