How to List Product's as a Professional Medical Device Use only?

There are several products I sell that are listed as a professional medical device use only and they can only be sold to and used by licensed healthcare professionals. How do I list these products correctly. I know they can be listed and sold on Amazon because I see other products listed. I just can't find any documentation on how to list these products correctly. Please Help.

Thank You

Hi @Medical_Products_Dep,

Thanks for the post.

The FDA differentiates medical devices as OTC and Rx by assessing a device intended use and how safe it is to operate the device. FDA makes this differentiation by assessing the potential harm imposed on a patient because of the operation method of a device.

I did want to link our policy on medical devices and accessories in case it proves useful at all. That policy defines a medical device as:

"...an instrument, apparatus, machine or related object used to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent diseases in people or animals. Medical devices can also be used to change the structure or function of the body, such as stimulating hair growth."

Best regards and have a good weekend.
