Amazon Deactivated My account
Amazon Deactivated my account stating that it is connected to another account, turns out that account that they say is connected is a relative of mine and completely not related to me in business, their account is deactivated and amazon is saying they wont reopen my account until their account is reinstated, what options do I have at this point to get my account back up?

Your option is to get the family member to fix their account.

that happened because you or him used the wifi of the other. Never ever log in to your seller account in a wifi that's not your's.

call and ask which is the second account they are referring for, at least you will have a trace to investigate

Hi there @Seller_IDG5d5GzfWKf7,
Thank you for utilizing the Seller Forums.
I understand your account has been deactivated due to being linked to another account, of which you do not recognize.
Under Amazon's seller code of conduct, all sellers may own and operate one selling account unless there is a legitimate business need for another account. Those needs could be having an entirely separate brand or being a manufacturer of different products than what is sold on the first account. These accounts do have to remain in good standing, meaning that if one of the accounts is deactivated, they will all be deactivated. These accounts will remain deactivated until the root of the issue is resolved.
Even when permitted to have a second account, they are not totally separate from each other. Due to the same information being present on multiple accounts, there is that relationship established. This can also extend to circumstances such as yours- the same information is present on two different accounts. Examples of such personal information includes phone number, e-mail address, business address, or financial information.
I would like to ask you to consider the following questions as well:
- If this account is owned by a family member, are they able to reactivate their account?
- What information is being shared between the accounts?
These are not the only questions you will want to ask yourself when going over your account, but they are designed to start your investigation into the ultimate root cause of your current situation.
If you are unable to identify the account or its owner, you do have options. You have the option of submitting a notarized affidavit explaining someone gained unauthorized access to your account. This should also have a copy of your government-issued ID submitted at the same time, too. Prior to doing this, you will want to ensure only your information is present on your selling account. Feel free to look over all different information fields and options on the account and remove any information that you do not recognize.
However, since you have identified the account owner, you will want to request the family member reactivate their account prior to yours being reactivated. If this does not work, you will need to ensure all shared information is no longer present on the accounts and then provide an appeal submission which states how they were connected, what information was shared, and proof they are no longer related.
Feel free to watch the following Seller University videos to aid in addressing your account.
