Buyer Buys and cancels over and over

I have a buyer that keeps buying the same item multiple times in one day (10-12 all on different orders) then cancels. Then he buys one or two on another day and keeps them. Then orders several more on another day all different orders again. Then gets refunded. Buys a few again. Keeps them. He just asked me to refund 13 orders from April saying they are expired. He has been buying the same item since last year. Anyone else have this issue? Is it a return scam? And why buy all in a bunch of separate orders if all going to the same place?

If you don't give him what he wants he will be able to leave negative feedback on each and every order he placed, whether it was cancelled or if it shipped. Just had someone pull that one on me.

Hello @Seller_MsZAwdPg3ps0Y,

I regret hearing about this situation. If indeed there were not product expiration issues, it sounds like you might want to consider reporting this buyer. Whenever you suspect anyone (buyer or seller) of abusive action, please report it by navigating to Performance -Account Health -Report Abuse of Amazon policies. You can show the evidence of the repeat returns through that process. The appropriate team will in turn investigate this further and determine actions necessary.

Kindest regards,

Veronica_Amazon

Are you cancelling when he asks you? If so stop. Make him cancel through Amazon. This way Amazon will track and you can file a complaint against him.

You can contact Amazon Customer Service Team and state the situation. Then they will fix it for you.

Is the buyer requesting cancellation or are the orders pending and then disappearing?

I wonder if it's some kind of credit card fraud. Like the buyer is attempting to use different stolen credit cards and seeing which one "sticks." Keeping the amounts low as to not draw attention to the card owner or card issuer. If this scenario is correct, it would explain the separate orders.

As long as amazon keeps delighting the customer it will continue. Report the buyer as the Mod stated. It is your only hope. Good luck.

Yes, this is probably nefarious.

The ONLY thing I can think for you to do is to change the limit on your product so that the MAX order quantity is 1 (one), and make sure you are NOT offering "Free Shipping".

This way, they can only order 1 at a time, AND they will have to pay for postage. Then, IF they choose to Order then Return, YOU can withhold the postage paid. Eventually this will prove to be expensive for your attacker.

Good Luck!

This guy is drop shipping from you. At the bottom of Amazon email click the box for being taken advantage of. Amazon will research it. Almost every time the buyer gets a phone call from Amazon.

I did not tell you to do this but if you really want him gone. Send him the wrong item or a used item until he quits.
