NOT ELIGIBLE TO SELL

I am fairly a new seller on Amazon and I was selling protein powders. I was buying it from authorized wholesaler selling them all of a sudden i became not eligible to list those products on here. Like this is not enough two days ago i applied an other brand to sell their products amazon approved my invoice, today when I was about to list those products I saw that I am not eligible to sell it. Then why did you approve it two days ago Amazon? is this a glitch? whats going on ? this is the third time happening to me last 2 weeks. I send invoice get approved then become not eligible to sell on those products. Now im stuck with that inventory. I tried to reach out to Amazon help no clear answer. I am about to delete my account because this is not a reliable. Is this normal ? has this happen to anybody here before? Thanks !

Its tough trying to start a business "on Amazon" now. Its better to bring an existing business to Amazon.

So basically being "not eligible" to sell an item means one or more of the following:

The items brand is controlling who can sell on Amazon, buying from an "authorized" source does not make you "authorized" to use a brands IP for your profit. You may need specific permission from the brand owner to sell on Amazon via a LOA or Letter of Authorization.

It could be that Amazon has enough sellers of that item already

It could be that your account is too new to sell the specific item. In this case you can sell something else to gain a history of positive account metrics then try again to sell the item.

It could be that Amazon saw your invoice and is unable to vet your supply chain of custody. This often happens when a seller sources from websites or stores. If you paid sales tax on it when you bought it, you are the end user, the item is now used and cannot be sold on Amazon as new.

Also some items have a paywall or require an invite or be on a white list of sellers, all others will be inelgible.

Hi there @Seller_RFp9cljHeyZFu,

There are multiple levels of approval, so you might have been approved for a category, but not for a Brand or specific product. Can you please provide your Case ID where you were approved and when you were declined so I can investigate? thank you for your understanding.
