Urgent Issue with UPS Pickup for FBA Shipment

Hello Amazon Seller Community and @Dominic_Amazon @KJ_Amazon@Bryce_Amazon

Case ID: 13949104261

I wanted to share my recent experience with UPS by Amazon shipping, as I believe it's crucial to highlight this issue and seek help from fellow sellers who may have faced a similar situation.

I initiated a Small Parcel Delivery (SPD) shipment from Ontario, CA, directly to FBA, specifically to LAS VEGAS (VGT2). To expedite the process, I selected the fastest shipping option and scheduled a pickup date for 9/29/2023. I paid $1,316.70 for this service, as I needed my inventory to arrive promptly for the upcoming Prime Day.

However, despite having received 362 labels and ensuring that everything was prepared in my warehouse, my shipment has not been picked up by UPS as of today.

When I reached out to Amazon's support team for assistance, I was informed that Amazon does not maintain correspondence with Small Parcel Carriers and was advised to contact UPSN directly through my account with them. SAY WHAT?!?! USPN?!?! WHAT THE....????

So the response I received left me in a difficult situation as I had already paid for UPS shipping, and all labels were affixed to my inventory.

Unfortunately, I have no access to my account for assistance from any other Amazon representative, as my issue was marked as "solved" by the relevant team. This situation puts my investments at risk for the upcoming Prime Day, including my Prime Day deal slots, and I am unable to obtain any meaningful response from Amazon's side.

Any suggest on what we can do?

UPS is an Amazon shipping partner. That does not mean that Amazon is your point of contact for UPS.

When using UPS any support you need will be through UPS. I would suggest you get a commercial account with UPS so you can schedule pickups directly through UPS.

Get to know your driver, get to know your terminal. Get the terminals phone number.

Plan more in advance, it will reduce your costs and ensure your items are where they need to be, when they need to be.

Right now I would be dropping those things off at the temrinal.

As far as I am aware, when you buy UPS labels for your FBA shipment through Amazon, it doesn't include scheduling a pickup with UPS. That is up to the seller to arrange on their own with UPS.
