YEG2 is a slingshot warehouse that splits up the shipments and slingshots it into the other warehouses via an internal FC transfer. It's faster than a regular warehouse checking in inventory then transferring it out.

@Seller_9ESGZSEmjn9jS... With respect to YYZ7, yes, I'm seeing much of my sellable inventory being moved away as well, and haven't been asked to ship there in a good few months (while it used to be one of the most frequent destinations)...

Many GTA FBA Warehouses have specialized (YOO1 Ajax only deals with oversize items, YYZ1 deals with returns and hazardous items, etc... perhaps this is becoming true for YYZ7 in some way. I only have one item at YYZ9 Scarborough left...not sure what's been going on there...

As for YXU1 London, I've not yet been asked to send there directly, but I've seen items migrate there (27 available at last count, a lot less than I have at other major centres)... YXU1 (along with YOW3) is one of the two megacentres--both 2.8 million square feet--but YOW3 services Quebec and Atlantic Canada, while YXU1 is only meant to cover Southwestern Ontario..

If you send a significant % of a particular ASIN to Warehouses in the West (YVR4, YXX2, YEG2, and YYC1), you'll find many of those items won't stick -- they'll make their way back to Ontario. YYZ4, YOW3 and YHM1 will keep 20+ of the same ASIN, but out West, there's no centre at present that stores more than 5 of the same ASIN in my case.

@Seller_7LrAV0m5llaI7's insight about YEG2 as a 'slingshot' centre is definitely true (see my comment below) but I still have plenty of stock there. Just not more than 5 of the same item.

Hello@Seller_9ESGZSEmjn9jS,

Thank you for contacting Amazon Forums.

I understand you have a doubt regarding your FBA Shipments sent to YEG2. For this, I do want to share with you the Help Page Ship products to Amazon which mentions the following: "Send your products to the locations that Amazon designates for your shipping plan. This ensures that your inventory is placed closer to customers and reduces the order delivery time for your products.", nevertheless, if there is something you consider should be reviewed by Amazon, feel free to contact Selling Partner Support and present your case, including FBA Shipment ID, so they can investigate further if required.

As @JPart2mentioned, we have confirmed the system is routing FBA shipments to the different warehouses we have in Canada, so I can confirm it is working as expected. Nevertheless, on my end, I will escalate this situation with the FBA team in Canada, for them to review the process as well.

If you have further doubts or concerns, please do not hesitate in letting us know in this thread.

Regards,

Daryl
