Retail arbitrage experience

I have been selling on Amazon for about 8 months. My experiences so far have disappointed me. From Amazon's support team to my sales experience, nothing went as I expected. Yes, I made a profit, that's different. But I don't feel safe. What other sellers do affects me and it really wears me out. It's really disappointing when people who don't know the business drive down the prices, whether amazon doesn't make up for their mistakes, or when people buy feedback on their accounts and amazon turns a blind eye.buybox is a complete mess. I say this as someone who is truly 100 percent satisfied. The Fba system is constantly applying a hike in outages. What are your thoughts about amazon retail arbitrage?

With my respect and regards

Where does it say anything about feedbacks from buyers?

They call this " the race to the bottom ". I worked in another industry and called it something else " ____ the product ".

This is the fastest way of upsetting manufacturers and could lead to a significant change which could yield negative consequences for all who are engaged in amazon retail arbitrage. There is nothing wrong with discounting prices, however, when you start selling $20 items for 2$, you are going to raise ears and the game will change with tighter restrictions when it comes to getting ungated. In other words, I understand your concerns.

Stay positive and hang in there, you'll learn how to master the game.

Do you sell your product as new if so, you will not be here for another 8 months. You are in a very dangerous situation here talking about RA.

Hello @Seller_pxN9p9Jc5i9Kx

Thank you for visiting the seller forums.

I am happy to hear that you have made a profit selling on Amazon and that you are 100 percent satisfied. You have, however, pinpointed some of the common issues sellers have with selling on Amazon. E-commerce risks are no different than brick-and-mortar store risks. But, yes, there are risks such as increases in fees, bad actor buyers, etc.

doing retail arbitrage is a very quick way toa permanent suspension. You may want to rethink your business plan if it's not too late. Admitting it in a forum may have just tipped off Amazon. You may want to start working on a plan of action ,so if you have a chance of getting getting your account reactivated you have a head start.

I'm not sure which stores you are finding your discounted items, but from my experince there is almost no profit on those items. All the stuff in the Walmart discount aisle is the same at all the walmarts and everyone is trying to sell those items. After fees and shipping I'd be surprised if there is anything left. Even if you got something for free, you'd have to sell it for like $10 just to make $1 on it. And even then, is a free item worth $10 to someone else?

I am sorry you had a bad experience, however, you are not doing the retail arbitrage you sent to Amazon FBA.

Your experience and feelings are somehow normal. Everybody had that, especially at the beginning.

I want to point you to a possible future problem with the hope you will avoid it. Please verify if you have invoices (not receipts) from Neutrogena or an authorized distributor, otherwise, your account will be suspended at the first customer complaint.
