Amazon No Longer Accepting Appointments - West Coast (PSC2, ABQ2, ETC.) Extreme Delays
Mods/Sellers,
Everyone experiencing extreme delays with West Coast FC's? Never experienced anything like this - taking 1 month+ for deliveries from pickup to delivery, NOT including delays in receiving.
Below are shipment ID's and ship dates:
FBA18BHNV5XL - picked up 8/23/24, appointment (NOT FOR RECEIVING, JUST DELIVERY) 10/21/24
FBA18D87P3KS - picked up 9/11/24, appointment (NOT FOR RECEIVING, JUST DELIVERY) 10/19/24
FBA18D86645P - picked up 9/11/24, appointment (NOT FOR RECEIVING, JUST DELIVERY) 10/6/24
FBA18D86645P - picked up 9/11/24, CARRIER STATES AMAZON NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPOINTMENTS
FBA18FF44G4Z - picked up 9/23/24, CARRIER STATES AMAZON NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPOINTMENTS
FBA18D891XNS - picked up 9/11/24, DELIVERED 9/27/24, NOT received yet
We have sent a total of 6 shipments in late August/September (of which 1 was delivered, NOT received yet) in advance to avoid delays, but we are now running out of stock as Amazon cannot even handle capacity. What is going on??

it's messed up but be happy it's just a delay. they lost our entire shipment and it's a been a absolute nightmare trying to get paid. they are literally doing everything possible to avoid paying for losing our shipment. do yourself a favor and don't send anything to the westcoast

We are experiencing the same thing, the only sort of work-around is if you ship FTL then you can have it picked, delivered and receiving in about two weeks. By no means this makes the extreme delays acceptable, but food for thought.

We are seeing the same type of delays, have never had this long to receive and process goods.

Amazon can't seem to handle the delivery appointments and their preferred shipping carrier, CTII is not properly staffed so they can't handle the shipments. Both companies need to stop accepting people's merchandise if they cannot handle it. For my pallets, CTII has missed multiple delivery appointments. My pallet was picked up on August 29th and still hasn't been delivered.
This is the thread about my saga dealing with AWD:

It's been a terrible experience and unless something major changes, I would not use AWD nor CTII (Amazon's preferred carrier) again.

This is just a question... Is this because they are forcing everyone to split the shipments more? Before this started I only had 1-3 locations to send everything now it's 5-7 locations
P.S I'm experiencing it also and no one help when I reach out to them about it.

I read that in anticipation to the East Coast port shut down a lot of companies diverted their cargo to the West Coast ports.

It's happening everywhere, not just West Coast. I've been dinged twice for delays at XLX1 (AMZ's fault) and then again now at BDU6 and XLX7.
You are probably correct that they cannot handle the volume. And this was happening well before the East Coast port issues. AMZ simply cannot digest what they are trying to swallow.

Hi @Seller_00xlS88Mop6cz,
I'm sorry to read about this and thank you for sharing all of these shipment IDs. You may have seen Bryce and me in other threads combing for these shipments, so I am going to add them to our escalation and see if we can help in any way. I greatly appreciate you adding all of the dates and details and we'll update as we hear more.

This did happen with a shipment to Oakley, CA -- SCK8. It was delivered by UPS on July 30th. Not checked in/received until September 6th. Somehow, the UPS tracking data also was overridden and gave a new delivery date once it was finally checked in. Strange.
