I am going through the same issue for the last 1.5 months and tried all my credit and debit cards too. Amazon keeps rejecting my bank card as invalid, reason being the address with bank is not matching with the records on their file. They asked me to speak to the bank as well to verify, which I did multiple times. The same card was working earlier but not now. Same standard responses from Amazon on phone, email and chat. I am a new seller and not even started yet and have placed my order with the supplier already. Don't know where else to go.

Hello @Seller_bfc8s2FNNS5K7,

Thank you for reaching out. My apologies on the frustration that this has caused. When you register as a seller, you must enter a credit card that will accept international charges and that has a valid billing address located in an eligible country. Your credit card will be billed the monthly fee (if applicable) or USD 1 (excl. VAT) for purposes of validating the card. For more information, go to Registration requirements by country.

Use this toolto find out why your credit card information might be invalid and to update your credit.

It must be a true credit card, so no debit or pre-paid cards. Typically with credit cards you must apply for and receive approvals from the bank.

We accept the following credit or debit cards:

  • American Express
  • Diners Club
  • Discover
  • JCB
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

Please let me know if you still require additional assistance with this.

Cheers,

Micah
