Business insurance rejected... " We were unable to verify your Proof of Insurance"

Three times now my certificate of insurance has been rejected by amazon, with amazon listing the message as "We were unable to verify your Proof of Insurance". But I believe it does meet all the requirements, and amazon is not telling me why. I've tried listing the field of "the insured" as: my name only, my name + DBA my single owner (pass-through) LLC, and as only my llc name...all with the same result from amazon. The last response to my case on this case ID 15638258921, was amazon's "help" asking me for a screenshot showing my upload problem. But I never mentioned any upload problem, nor is there one. The problem is that I believe amazon is rejecting a perfectly good insurance certificate that meets their requirements. Why won't amazon accept it? Why can't human eyes review these "problem certificates", and see what the actual problem is (if there actually is a problem)? Screenshot of my cert, with my policy number blacked out.

This lists Amazon as the certificate holder and all sorts of nonsense in that field. What they want is a note that shows Amazon.com as "additional insured"

That is the kind of COI that Next gives when you add someone as an additional insured. My proof of insurance from Next that has been approved two previous years looks exactly like this. I guess this year mine will be rejected too.

Please update us when you get this sorted.

Might be a bot rejecting it. This is the way our cert looks like and ours was approved recently. I would create a case and try to reach a human. You have to list "State National Insurance Company, Inc" instead of NEXT

I had the same problem.

Use the company listed as insurer A: "State National Insurance Company, Inc."

Then go ahead and upload the file again.

That is how mine was fixed.

Just to double check - the Insured as listed on your policy exactly matches the Amazon account name/address?

Hello there @Seller_mcuQSsLA6Qnx0

My name is CR and am a member of the community management team here. I had a second to peek at your case #15638258921 and see that it is still being worked on by the appropriate partner team here who is reviewing further.

I can tell from my end that this is being looked into. However, I want to apologize for the frustration this has caused to this point. I will monitor this on my end as well, but please do feel free to @ tag me when you see a response come through in the above case and I can see what other paths we can take here if there is no sufficient resolution.

We had a similar issue this past year. The issue turned out to be the name where it says "Producer" . Just like yours we filled in the name of our local insurance agency. What Amazon wanted in that field was the name of the Insurance producer, which in your case looks to be "State national Insurance Company. Amazon will never tell you that in the emails that indicated failure to meet insurance requirements. It was completely trial and error before we got it right. Best advice to all. Never wait until the last minute to submit your business insurance when Amazon requests it, they DO give you ample time.
