Split SHipment Fee!!!!! How many more fees can we pay?
I am sending 1 Box to FBA with 72 Payments. I am being charged a split shipment fee of $20. I can split my own shipment. How many more fees can we pay? Amazon is chasing us off here more and more every day. We will have to raise fees to accommodate these charges and then sales go south when prices go up.

My shipping fee went from $13 to $45. All options are greyed out, so I have no choice to use this option. This will kill my business. This is devastating to us. Amazon's greed is getting out of hand. Use to be everyone gets 1/3, the labels , shipping, and returns come from your 1/3. Now amazon is taking about 60% + from my sales and I have to eat the returns, increase in shipping and annual increase in fees every year. We can just not do it anymore. So much has changed in the last 6 years, not 1 thing went the sellers way. Of course, all this happens right after I decided I need a warehouse and dumped 100k to get started on the build a 6 months ago. Might be a waste to spend the 70k to finish it up.

"How many more fees can we pay?"
Amazon is committed to finding out.

This is a necessary fee. Necessary because Amazon currently only captures about 60% of a sellers revenue in some fee or another, they are trying to get to 100% apparently and this is the next logical step in obtaining that end.

This fee isnt going to be your issue as the fulfillment fees are dropping in April to offset much of this few.
Its the low inventory penalty fee coming soon which will destroy sellers.
Amazon thinks it is untouchable but as TikTok shops and Temu grow its going to see a decline in shoppers because these asinine fees are going to cause prices for customers to go up big time.
This is why Wal-marts version of this marketplace is growing daily. Lower fees. Lower prices for customers.

This new inbound placement fee is affecting the US sellers, but not the Chinese sellers. See the link below. Amazon gives Chinses sellers an option to send a shipment to one location and pay zero placement fee. They just pay $226.29 for shipping per pallet. Isn't this discrimination against the US sellers?

Yes, the greed. Could raise the prices of the items being sold, to make up for the blow, but then the buyers suffer.

Good luck with trying to raise prices LOL Amazon will have none of that - look for your emails stating your prices are now too high and de-listed your item(s) or price on a website from 1990 makes your price too high too - so even tho you may be the only seller/manuf. they will still will not allow a price increase - we tried when shipping went up and was slapped with notices
