All listings with color variations separated and descriptions missing from products
The issue is that I have several products with multiple color variations. It seems every few months something breaks on Amazon and I have to struggle with support to get them to rejoin the variations. All the child ASINs already show up in the listing backend and the bullet points and descriptions are already there. Support told me to add a description but I sent them a screenshot showing the description already exists. Now that case has been "referred to the internal team" whatever that means. All their teams are internal as far as I'm concerned.
In addition to the variations splitting, several of my other products no longer have descriptions or bullet points and are search suppressed. What happened to the bullet points and descriptions?
This has basically put me in a position where none of my inventory on those listings is selling because it can't be found. If I hadn't seen this issue by checking on my listings, there was no notification.
This is so frustrating because support doesn't help.

This is happening to a lot of people, you can find 5-6 similar threads running right now. Try to get a hold of the catalog team if you can they are much more helpful than standard support. This one probably warrants a phone call to Seller Support.
We're dealing with the same issue. I'm very hesitant to try to correct this on my own as I'm also hearing that people are getting bot-deactivated for "variation abuse"

My main product's description and bullet points disappeared about 6 months ago and I spent 2 months going back and forth with support. Eventually, they basically old me to kick rocks and stop contacted them about it. It still has no description and bullet points.
