New Product Proof of Ownership Required
How do I provide proof of ownership when I am the manufacturer? I own a very small business making non toxic wood finish. I have other products sold FBA without issues. I shipped a new product and inventory is being held for proof of ownership. The instructions say: if you are the manufacturer, send a copy of the signed packing slip. What packing slip? I don't ship product to myself. I make the product and send it to amazon. What more do they need? Thanks

i think people will tell you to invoice yourself for the raw materials and send that invoice.
Wait for more detailed instructions from others...I have not had to do this.

Packing slip means a document supposed to show you as sender and the FBA warehouse as consignee. Nobody puts a packing slip in his boxes, but when I was asked to provide a packing slip I created such a document.
Furthermore send invoices of the purchase of your raw material you need to manufacture your products.

please be sure to redact all related cost of goods, source of materials, manufacturing facility location. Amazon does this to try to acquire our manufacturing information so they can cut us out of our own supply chains.
I usually just provide a PO with everything except for our receiving address and the product itself redacted. the origin, materials, cogs, and our manufacturers address and contact information is not for amazon use

its very easy just google packign slip . they usually ask me for it when they lose my stuff during process . I genrally make a invoice looks like a packign slip where it describe your item quantity and number of cases . buyer supplier info , if you own this brand and company just make one you b fine

We are our own manufacturer as well, just google a packing list template, fill & sign it and you'll be good. don't bother with invoices of raw materials and what not, seller support does not know how to read those (we've tried). Just be sure to sign it, and include as much relevant information of that FBA shipment as you can.

do you make it in the garage? make an packing slip for it, deliver it to your living room with the paperwork and sign it. Or sign it in the kitchen. Or the bathroom. Let's just say your name is fred. deep state cards can deliver to fred. Not hard, figure it out. You are dealing with machines, robots, and idiots. Try to think like them.

Make a packing slip from you to Amazon. Include item quantities, the Amazon order Number, and a rough total weight. We've had to do this a few tims and this always gets it done for us.

Amazon is just trying to steal your product information so they can undercut you. It is what they do. On the bright side, your product must be successful for Amazon to want to steal it. If you ever want to sell off the business to a bigger manufacturer, it is a premium to say "Amazon tried to steal it." and it may be time to sell it. Amazon will eventually get what they want and then ruin you.

@Jameson_Amazon I created a packing slip and uploaded it within a reply to the original support case. This was 2 days ago and I have not heard anything back. How long should it take? I'm confused as to what the packing slip should contain. Since I am the manufacturer am I creating a packing slip showing I shipped the product to myself or showing exactly what I shipped to Amazon? This is for Case ID: 15770569891
Thanks

Hello @Seller_a6K4h4D3isie6, if you are the manufacturer, proof of ownership will be a signed packing slip with the following information:
- the date of packing
- product names
- quantity
- the shipment ID
