Canada orders are still in limbo and Amazon continunes to penalize us

I have written these replies to all my Canadian A-to-Z Guarantees that Aamzon has shamelessly approved. So, far no reply from them. Who else is getting their metric hit by it?

Subject: Request for Resolution Regarding A-to-Z Guarantee Refunds Due to Canadian Postal Strike

Dear Amazon Seller Support,

We are writing to address a significant issue regarding an A-to-Z Guarantee claim that was approved, resulting in refunds issued to customers at our expense. This decision was made despite the fact that we were not at fault for the delays in delivery.

Amazon did not notify sellers operating on the Canadian marketplace of the widespread strike by the Canadian Post Office, which began in mid-November and escalated to involve all 55,000 employees by the end of the month. During this time, packages destined for Canada remained stagnant in customs or other facilities, as they could not be processed or delivered due to the strike.

The impact of this strike, as reported in Canadian news sources, was not widely covered in the United States. Consequently, we were unaware of the situation and incurred substantial losses due to undelivered packages, amounting to thousands of dollars.

Given these circumstances, we kindly request the following actions:

Reimbursement of Funds: Refund the amounts deducted from our account for the claims associated with this issue.

Removal of Complaints: Remove any negative strikes or complaints associated with these cases, as the delays were entirely beyond our control.

We believe that Amazon should have either temporarily suspended sales to Canada during the strike or issued timely warnings to sellers about the operational disruptions. As such, we respectfully urge you to reconsider these refunds and complaints in light of the extraordinary circumstances.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.

Sincerely,

It's a disaster, I also just posted in the forum, please go reply so it gains traction.

They are letting customers keep items and refunding them from our money because orders are "delayed", what did they expect during a nationwide postal service strike?
