Why have my shipping costs changed?
I sell a significant amount of products that weigh less than a pound through seller fulfillment(FBM); usually the shipping costs of these smaller products are anywhere from 3-4 dollars by way of USPS Grounds or USPS First Class. I had issues in the past with high shipping costs but resolved it with adjusting the transit times in my shipping template based on how far the customers was from the west coast, where my seller store is located. Recently however, Amazon isn't giving me the option for the reasonable shipping costs. Whether it's local or across the country, the default shipping cost is 7-9 dollars through USPS Priority Mail or UPS Grounds with the same adjusted shipping template. I even changed my handling time from same day to 1 day hoping it would adjust my shipping cost but still everything that weighs less the a pound is still being charged 7-9 dollars to ship. I've been using stamps.com to ship my orders but I'd rather have my shipping cost be taken from the payment reserve than my own pocket. Is there anything else to do to fix my shipping cost issue? A lot of my items for sale sell for less than 10 dollars so with this expensive shipping cost I'd be losing money to sell. Any help or guidance would be greatly greatly appreciated.

The LONG line of posts about this issue starts WAY BACK THERE someplace.
The always, all wise, Amazon BOTS have determined that FCM (which no longer exists) will NOT reach the buyer before the expected delivery window ends.
Unless you have an extremely high number of INR issues just buy it on Stamps/ Pirate Ship/ wherever and put in the tracking number for AMAZON.
The all wise should not be ignored (except all day, every day)…

"@Seller_avtm Buy Shipping will only display shipping methods that are estimated to meet the order’s promised delivery date. As we move into the peak shipping time of the calendar, the estimated transit time for shipments is extended.
Missing carrier or ship method in Buy Shipping
Our above seller help page has some troubleshooting steps you can take if you believe there's an error and the shipping method should be available.
Sellers have the option to purchase shipping outside of Buy Shipping, as long as it meets the order’s promised delivery date.
I understand that many sellers have been raising this issue in the forums. I am sharing these threads with our partner teams. These teams are investigating orders to ensure the correct shipping options are being offered, accounting for the extended transit times during peak periods. I will post any updates that I receive."

Hello @Seller_UlfPI0xhHzXj8, my colleague posted in another thread about this. I've linked that comment. The correct rates are now available in Buy Shipping. Please let me know if you run into any issues.
