Amazon is not shipping the goods, in a timely manner, sold thru FBA

Hello,

To begin with, I’m not sure if all the strange things happen to me or if anyone else had encountered a similar situation. Some of the orders that Amazon is supposed to ship to the customers are not getting shipped. The same situation happened to me a couple of months earlier: Amazon shipped the orders late by one week and the customer initiated the return stating that the products were not arrived by the estimated delivery date as shown during the shopping. I tried to make a case with the seller support, asking them to reimburse me the money collected on the pick and pack, but as everyone knows Amazon will not reimburse even when it’s their fault and I took the loss in a helpless situation.

The same thing is happening again to me in the last two weeks especially on a couple of orders.

1. Order was placed on 20-Oct-2024 and the Amazon ship by date is 21-Oct-2024. The order is still in pending status to the moment I’m writing this.

If this customer has a prime membership and is expecting a prime fulfillment promise, I can only imagine the frustration they must be going thru and how it can lead to negative shopping experience to the customer.

On another order, Amazon even collected the shipping charges from the customer and I believe it was not delivered to the customer on the promised date. The customer reached to the customer service and to my luck Amazon refunded only the shipping amount. So, I got saved as the loss to me was only minor (tax difference on the shipping charges given back to the customer).

Amazon is collecting the so called “peak fulfillment fee” for the pick and pack during the holiday season only to provide sloppy service. Please feel free to reply to this post if anyone else has gone thru a similar situation and if you were successful in making a case with the seller support.
