Account Deactivated Due to App-Based Dropshipping – But Apps Were Amazon-Integrated
Hello fellow sellers and moderators,
I’m hoping someone here can share advice or insight. My Amazon.ca seller account was recently deactivated due to policy violations related to dropshipping and lack of invoices. However, the listings in question were created using apps that are officially integrated within Amazon’s Manage Your Apps section.
These apps automate sourcing and fulfillment, and seemed fully approved — both because they were in Amazon’s own dashboard and actively promoted on platforms like YouTube and Instagram. As a new seller, I assumed that if these tools were available inside Amazon’s own system, the methods they used were safe and compliant.
Now my account is suspended, even though:
I never shipped or sold any of the listed products
No customer was impacted
All flagged ASINs have been removed
I’ve stopped using those apps completely
I’ve completed Amazon Seller University trainings and restructured everything
I’ve already submitted multiple appeals explaining this, including that I take full responsibility. But I genuinely feel misled by the presence of these apps within the Amazon system.
Has anyone else been suspended for relying on these Amazon-integrated apps? Were you able to resolve it?
Any suggestions on how to bring this concern to the attention of a real reviewer?
Thank you in advance for any support.
