In the last month, we have received several notifications from Amazon requesting "compliance documents" for multiple products.

According to the emails, Amazon’s listing policies require that products be certified in order to be sold on the platform. To meet these requirements, sellers must submit one of the following:

i. A test report or certificate from an SCC-accredited certification body showing your product meets CSA Electrical Safety standards or harmonized UL standards as listed below

OR

ii. An Amazon declaration form with an electrical safety listing ID/model number that is listed in an SCC-accredited certification body's database and demonstrates compliance with the relevant standards.

We chose the first option and submitted a Certificate of Compliance from Intertek Testing Services Inc., an SCC-accredited certification body, confirming that our product meets CSA Electrical Safety standards. Unfortunately, the submission was not approved.

As a result, our listings are currently inactive.
