8572: You are using UPCs, EANs, ISBNs, ASINs, or JAN codes that do not match the products you are trying to list.

I created the UPC and the product. They both match. I listed a product this morning and had no problems. But now I can't list anything. I am not a new seller, selling on Amazon for 14+ years. We are brand-registered as well.

Is this another Amazon glitch? (Im still experiencing the Inform Consurmer's act flagging - account health said we are fine and should go away. )

do not match the products you are trying to list.

So you use a UPC which is not attributed to YOU, exactly how you appear as "Legal Entity" in your seller account. OR you used that UPC already before just for listing and deleted the listing.

Verify the UPC you want to use on the website of GS1 and check if YOU are the owner.

I wanted to stop by and see if you still require assistance in investigating the UPC error code 8572 you were receiving?

Please provide the latest CASE ID you have filed with Selling Partner Support so I can begin deep diving this issue.

I also have some help pages I wanted to share with you if the issue is still occurring:

  • HERE is content my colleague @Michelle_Amazon wrote about the error code back in March of last year to help seller troubleshoot the code
  • HERE my colleague @Glenn_Amazon went into more detail about resolving UPC issues (including how to best handle the 8572 error code)
