Seller Funds - Disbursed then Retracted through "Expenses"
Hello
Amazon has incorrectly retracted some of my already disbursed funds through the use of an ambiguous category - "Expenses - Other"
My account was deactivated from June 2023 until March 7, 2024.
On March 7, 2024, I was notified that my account had been re-activated and that I could disburse the funds that had been withheld during the deactivation period (from June 2023 until March 7 2024). I immediately disbursed the funds that had been in the account. These funds were NOT in reserve or anything else; they were simply sitting in the account. The funds were in the following amounts: $18, 756.48 (standard orders) and $3,969.04 (invoiced orders) for a total of $22725.52. I made two disbursements on March 7th, 2024 for each of those amounts ($18756.48 and $3,969.04).
Then, during the next settlement period (3/7/24 to 3/21/24), on 3/15/24, these same exact amounts ($18756.48 and $3969.04) were CHARGED to me as EXPENSES under the “OTHER” category. There was no explanation for these EXPENSES and they are in error. They are not reserve charges. When I click on the OTHER button it says: “Amount incurred Amazon-account level or transaction level fees and charges for services such as advertising.” During that period, I had account charges for shipping in the amount of $1147.11 and commission fees on sales in the amount of $2390.93 for a total of $3583.04 listed separately, not under "OTHER". However, the expenses in the amounts of $18756.48 and $3969.04 are incorrect. These are incorrect reversals or retractions of already disbursed funds.
Please find attached statements and files related to the above.
I have created cases, tried speaking to seller support, etc with no help.
My account is still active.
Please find attached statements and files related to the above.
