Amazon holds funds twice for same transaction

Customer opened an A to Z claim for something back in October that is outside of the returns period so they are holding the funds, customer than now opened up chargeback for the same transaction and Amazon is holding the funds again, how can they hold double the funds for the same transaction, this is so ridiculous how Amazon can hold double your money for the same transaction because customer is trying any which way to do something that they do not qualify for. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Hi @Seller_Jhm7h5TmVLKnE,

I do understand your frustration here so I wanted to provide some information on the chargeback process that might help.

Chargebacks are issued by the credit card company of which the payment method was issued. They are not issued by Amazon. Amazon is required to comply with chargebacks issued by credit companies.

However, Amazon will help you appeal the chargeback through the process laid out in this help page. I would suggest following this process and providing proof of the A-to-Z claim for the chargebacks team to use during the appeal process.

Let me know if you have any questions!
