Should I add actual Item Dimensions or How it should be packed in Item Package Dimensions
Hello Sellers,
I sell packs of posters on Amazon. Each poster's dimension is 40 X 50 CM and the height is just 1.8 MM.
If I put the exact dimensions in the Item Package Dimensions, Amazon ships it in a huge box and charges me for the Small oversize product size tier. Where my product can be folded once and can be shipped in half the size of a box.
So should I enter 40 X 25 CM in the Item Package Dimensions? Or is there any other way to instruct Amazon?
PS: I think one of my competitors is also doing something similar. The item price is cut by half and what I noticed in the Revenue Calculator is that his Fulfillment cost is now as an Envelope product size tier. Where our product dimensions are exactly the same.

Hello this is Christine from Amazon.
Thank you for bringing your question to the Amazon Forum.
Here is a series of factors that you can use to help your case.
See the list below:
Product size tiers: are measurement categories based on the unit weight, product dimensions, and dimensional weight of a packaged item.
Shipping weight: Shipping weight is the weight used to determine fees. The shipping weight is calculated based on the item’s unit weight or dimensional weight
Dimensional weight: In certain cases, dimensional weight is used instead of unit weight to determine the shipping weight
Fee category:Fee categories determine which rates apply to a particular product for certain fee types.
