We recently suggested product detail update and we were surprised with notification that it is a product tampering. The listing is totally wrong and very confusing. Infact it was causing so much trouble for us because the listing was referencing a totally different product . As an authorized distributor of the product, we have provided all information, but we keep getting same response. I hope moderator can help us

You'll get no help without an open Case and posted Case Id for them to look at.
As to the issue, I've seen it before.
If it was created that way, and you are not the brand, you can easily be seen by Amazon as "tampering."

What updates were your trying to add? This could lead to the tampering issue if the product is an updated version of the item. If this is the case, you would want to create a new listing altogether. This may also apply if you are trying to add a variation to the listing.
What is incorrect on the listing? From where did this incorrect information originate? You mention the listing is referencing a different product. What product is being mentioned and why were the attributes added to your current listing rather than the other product?
What information was requested when the listing was first deactivated, and how does that compare to the information you submitted? Have you taken any action on the listing itself in addition to any supplemental documentation? If so, you will want to provide a written description of what the actions you took on the listing. Finally, what was the response that you reference in your post? By sharing that information, we can better understand why your information was not accepted, and what adjustments need to be made for your next submission.
