There is still the outstanding bug/glitch that has been mentioned many times from when the new "Send/replenish inventory" workflow was introduced where if there are items that are split up on the same shipment, that some are Hazmat/Dangerous Goods and some are not Hazmat / Dangerous Goods, it forces you to use Non partnered carrier for the non hazmat too, instead of just for the Hazmat/Dangerous goods FBA items.
The old workflow that was retired handled this properly, you could create a list of items you would want to ship in, and then it would split the shipment into two, one UPS Partnered carrier shipment and one UPS non partnered carrier shipment.
The new system still splits it into two, but it glitches out and does not offer the UPS Partnered Carrier Shipping for Non hazmat FBA items, which then means that the seller has to create a second shipment manually, and manually move over all the DG items to the new shipment.
Also, it would be nice to have the option back to print all FBA FNSKU Labels for a shipment all at once like the old system used to do, regardless of whether the item is commingled or not. This was great as we could hand out warehouse packer a page of FNSKU labels and then if there was anything left over then we know that the quantities are incorrect for shipping.

First of all, thank you for giving importance to our ideas. The biggest deficiency/error in FBA processes is the processing speed of products sent to Amazon warehouses. In some cases, it may take up to 1 month for shipments sent to warehouses to be stocked. I'm sure many sellers complain about this situation. Personally, some of my shipments are still waiting in *FC TRANSFER* status even though it has been 20 days. I wonder how long it would take if we took a car trip from the beginning to the end of Canada :) You really need to speed up this process. thanks

Hi JiAlex,
Could you check what I posted in my discussion yesterday? I have opened many cases, but no solution. Here are my case IDs: 15253588301, and 15254819771.
Thank you very much.

Vast majority of our FBA orders are fulfilled from ON warehouses, and yet we are directed to ship quite a bit of inventory to AB and BC warehouses, only to watch these check in and get transferred back to ON.
This costs us to ship from ON to AB/BC, then it costs Amazon to transfer it back to ON. It also accounts to quite a few lost sales because most of the time units in transfer are not available for sale.

Another idea would involve shipping products to Amazon. We use UPS partnered shipping for most items and love the pricing and speed. It would've been great if Amazon offered partnered shipping for Hazmat and LTL shipments as well.

As other sellers have noted, processing speed in the Canadian FCs remains a problem. This could at least partly be alleviated by having visibility to accurate estimates of when the inventory would be received and made available, based on how busy an FC is.
While FCs have a stated timeline from delivery to checked-in to receiving under normal circumstances, we often see tactics being employed to bend the rules such as not marking trailers as delivered when a non-partnered carrier drops them off and instead doing so just only when the FC deems itself to be ready to receive the inventory. Thus, in effect, bypassing any SLAs communicated to us sellers. This practice has been particularly prevalent at YYC1 off late severely impacting our inventory turns processed through the FBA network. Not helpful.

1. Send shipments to an FC closest to the majority of sales. In some cases close to 90% of sales are in Ontario and Quebec, but shipments get sent to Alberta, only to be transferred in their entirety back to Ontario, adding a lot of unnecessary lead time, and undoubtedly avoidable cost & carbon footprint.

When a shipment is checked-in to an FBA warehouse, the contents of the shipment should be entirely received in to that warehouse and the shipment CLOSED. Any warehouse transfers by Amazon should be performed ONLY AFTER the the shipment is CLOSED.
Currently what almost always happens is some items are received into the first FBA warehouse with numerous items then being placed into warehouse transfers. The order remains open and partially received until those items are received into their transfer destination.
This causes ongoing issues with miscounts and delays in simply closing a shipment. We've seen numerous examples where the received count for items goes up to match the expected quantity and then the received count goes down as a result of the transfer....then it's a waiting game for Amazon to ultimately say that there was a discrepency in the quantity shipped and the shipment is prematurely closed with errors.
Then of course the follow-on case creation and 25 messages back & forth over the course of another month before the missing items are finally checked in. There is a tremendous waste of time and resources to follow up on items miscounted as a result of warehouse transfers and needs to stop.

Can we have the shipment closed after the initial scan if nothing is missing, particularly before transferring our items to other FCs, most losses happen right after items are transferred to other FCs, and then we need to prove what we shipped. Amazon often doesn't even respect their scanning results at the first warehouse after items get lost during transfer at the second FC.

FBA receiving is not correct often.
Shipment reconciliation process is designed to shift burden on the sellers, and stonewall the missing inventory investigations.
"automatic reconciliation" has no credibility unfortunately.
