Unable to reactivate seller account
Hello,
My account has been set to inactive due to inactivity and I also missed the deadline for updating my US tax information. The email I received says that I go to Seller Central to reactivate my account, but when I click continue, it takes me to the payment page with no further instructions.
I have re-added my credit card for Canada, US, and Mexico, but nothing has happens.
When trying to click Help to get someone from support. It's showing the Inactive Account page.
What is the next step to reactivate my account?
Thanks,
Carl

Hello @Seller_4vBAGZRvJnkf8,
Thank you for taking the time to connect with us via the Forums. Thank you for also providing the Performance Notification. With this information, and help from an internal team, I have better ability to research your specific situation.
I see how frustrating it is for you attempting to reactivate your account. In the last 3 years there have been many changes but what you are experiencing on the Account Health Page is confusing.
I am going to suggest some next steps for you. Please open your Account Health Page and follow these steps:
- In the middle under Policy compliance, the last line says: Regulatory compliance - click on that - there is a red dot next to a 1.
- You will see Next Steps on the right side and a blue bar that says Proceed - click Proceed.
- A window will pop open - it says "Complete your self-service tax interview to submit the required information." Click Proceed.
I think you just need to verify your information - make sure it is correct - and click the Save and Preview yellow button. On the next page you need to:
- check the box - "I certify that I have the capacity to sign for the person identified on line 1 of this form."
- Type your full name that matches the document.
- Answer the remaining questions as they pertain to you.
- Submit the form.
As you are reactivating your account, please take advantage of Seller University. By becoming familiar with the requirements for listings, supplier information, invoice requirements, and so much more, you will have greater opportunity for success. If you have any questions, you may always reach out.
I am hopeful this will help reactivate your account. I am very interested in your success and would like to know if this corrected your account.
I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the Forums.
