Amazon is not accepting my documents for second Identity Verification, however first verification I passed with same documents.
Hi,
I received a second Seller Identity Verification request on March 21( just 1 day before I received my first inventory), the first one I had successfully passed on December 19.
As for verification I provided the following list of documents: passport scan, my personal bank statement (which contains information about my personal address), company statement, company documents (same documents as I did on December 19): . I received the following response for case number 14968436171:
Hello,
We have reviewed the documents that you provided, but we were unable to verify your identity based on the submitted documents.
As a result, your account will remain inactive.
Why is this happening?
We were unable to verify the document that you provided as a proof of identity.
So I tried once more, removed all previous documents and attached a photo of my Driving Licence (because I read that some scans are not acceptable) and bank statement of the company. I received the same response.
I gave it a third try and attached passport scan, passport photo, Driving license photo and company bank statement
After this I received:
We have reviewed the documents that you provided, but we could not complete the verification. As a result, your case will be closed, and your account will not be activated.
Why is this happening?
The documents that you provided do not meet our policy requirements. We are unable to share further information about this matter.
After the first case was closed - I reached out to Support via call to get any kind of assistance, so they looked at my case and agreed that it is weird that my case was declined. They also couldn't explain what is the reason, but recommended to resubmit verification. So I did (case 14981614051) and again provided everything according to instructions: scan of passport, photo of passport (just in case) and bank statement of the company. As a result: I didn't receive any confirmation of my case or response to the email. And when I logged in Seller Central to check the status it was just "Declined" without any comments and the description was blank.
Please advise what I should do.

A few possible issues.
1. Is your name and address on all documents exactly the same without any variation? You can't have John J Smith on one and John Jacob Smith on the other. You also can't have 123 W. 8th St. on one and 123 West 8th Street on the other.
2. Does your bank statement have a bank logo on it? Does it have your name spelled exactly the same as your other documents?
3. Does the company information state your name or just the company info? Is it under the same address as your ID or passport? Again, if there are any variations, your documents will not pass verification.
These are just a few possible issues that come to mind. I may be missing a few. Can a mod assist?

I went through this exact situation in summer of 2020, after 10 years of selling amazon just wanted an amazon verification. I kept getting same responses for 3 weeks while my account was closed. Then finally one day late at night 3 weeks later they reviewed it and was back in business. Be patient there is nothing you can do but wait
