Short Disappointing Story of a New Brand on Amazon

I am a new brand owner, I started to grow it on Amazon. I only had one product so far and I was preparing to launch many products for the same brand and create a store for the brand on Amazon. However, I have now decided to close my account on Amazon simply because of Amazon's mistreatment and poor systems. In just a few months, I faced several problems that made me realize that Amazon is not a reliable partner. They closed my account after the first batch of goods arrived to request verification of the business location and address that I actually provided at the beginning of registration and it was approved and I was suspended for about two months until I was able to solve the problem. Then after a sales trip, a problem appeared (Damaged by customer) which constituted about 2 to 5% of the goods, and they refused to compensate me. Then about two weeks ago, Amazon stole $1,573.58 from my balance and I am still contacting them to recover the amount but in vain. Amazon is not worth working with and cannot be trusted, so I decided to close my account as soon as possible after collecting the amounts in my account now and I will market my brand in other places. The end of working on Amazon is not the end of the future, as there are many other opportunities.

Yeah you really have to understand all the policies before diving in.

FBA returns "damaged by customer" havent been reimbursable for all long as I have been selling. Gotta plan for that.

Also making sure they have not just approved but verified the address before sending inbound is a good idea.

Those financial reports could definetly be more intuitive to use as well...Im sure they are not "stealing" but it can be hard to find out exactly whats going on.

TBH your experiance is common. People jump in too fast and get burned
