Cannot edit listing
I'm a new seller and just created a new listing in the clothing category. I went to the inventory page trying to edit the listing and add variations, but all I got is "You need approval to list this ASIN." I requested approval, then it took me to "You can sell this product in the following conditions: New" with a "Sell yours" button. After clicking on the "sell yours" button, I was taken back to "You need approval to list this ASIN." Did I do anything wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

For your listing issue, please create a case to Selling Partner Support to review your issue. Once they have completed their investigation, if you need further assistance, please provide the case ID so I can look into this further for you.

Please tell me you were not trying to sell brand clothing that you purchased at retail, like an outlet.....or from Nike's website....
