Need Help Amazon Restricted My Product

Amazon has restricted my product and its variations because they want me to request approval to sell in the Kids and Baby Furniture category. However, the issue is that my product is Baby Clothing, which shouldn't be in that category. They asked me to provide invoices and pictures of the product. I submitted the invoices and, as an extra precaution, included a white piece of paper with my name and business name placed near the product (as advised by a representative during a phone call). Surprisingly, they denied my request, stating that they 'need photos of the product itself.' Consequently, I uploaded photos of the product itself, and they replied with the following message:

'Thank you for your application to sell Kids and Baby Furniture products. We have reviewed the documentation and information you provided and determined that you are not eligible to sell Kids and Baby Furniture products.

We took this action to ensure the mutual success of our sellers and buyers in our store.'

This is my first product with Amazon, and I have successfully branded the product and obtained catalog approval. However, this is now a roadblock I am facing. Additionally, the internal team rarely responds, and someone told me this appears to be an automated message.

What should I do at this point? It's been almost 2 months with the entire process.

"I submitted the invoices and, as an extra precaution,"

Clothing is not easy category to get into because the category is restricted. Amazon will ask for your COC's from a USA based testing lab for each product sold.

1. Your products will meet all US standards for packaging (child safety warnings, metal content, made in what country, warranty info, expirations, contact info, etc......as it pertains to the item sold), have all COC's necessary on file, have GS1 registered UPC's in your business name on the product, even have MSDS's on hand in your company/brand name, just to start. Your own brand URL where customers can purchase your product line is always helpful but not necessary. In addition, it is always helpful to be able to show retailers around the country who carry your line of products. USTPO registered Trademark should not be pending, but the final determination document. When you were approved by your Liability Insurance Company, they asked for all of the same information prior to issuing the policy, so what Amazon asks for is no different.

2. Amazon knows what an invoice includes. An invoice is used when Your business has a retail commercial credit account with the manufacturer. Most all included.

- YOUR: business name, business address, business phone, sales tax exempt number, your EIN number, your credit line, terms of sale

- MANUFACTURER’S: address, phone, EIN number, account Rep’s name

- PRODUCT’S: quantity, SKU-Model number,

- DISCOUNTS PROCESSES ON THIS PURHASE: quanity, sale, specials

- TERMS OF SHIPPING: method, who pays, company used, tracking number

Some have more, and some have less, but they all use the same basic format. Even when you call and make a small online order and pay by credit card, an invoice is still sent to you separately containing all of the above.

Greetings @Seller_qqxUd0jAFxIUh,

Thank you for reaching out with your difficulties with resolving these restrictions on your listings. In many instances Amazon is not able to share why you are or are not approved to sell in a specific product category that requires approval. However given that you are contesting that your product is not in the correct category I'm happy to investigate to see if there is any other options I can offer. I cannot make any guarantees but if you provide your most recent Seller Support Case ID on this issue I will review to determine what steps if any exist. Thank you.
