RESTRICTED PRODUCT VIOLATION

Hello Mods,

Kindly assist us in escalating this case to a team that can assist us. we recently received a restricted violation for an ASIN we never intended to list on Amazon.ca, but the listing was synchronized from our Amazon.com store to our Amazon.ca store, and I have checked the details; it was not even active till this violation hit. We do not even know why it is restricted in Amazon.ca and do not want to bother fighting it. Can any mod kindly assist us in escalating this to a team, an actual human that can resolve the case and remove the violation from our Amazon Account Health?

Because this falls among a reason for this violation to be removed, it was not intentional

We sent in a POA because we did not even plan to sell this on Amazon.ca in the first place, and we never knew it synchronized.

We received this message after we sent in a POA.

Hello DES Tools,

Thank you for removing the ASINs. Note that deleting ASINs does not remove the violation from your Account Health page. These violations will remain visible for 180 days following deactivation unless successfully disputed.

Note that our team does not remove violation records or handle appeals that relate to them.

If you believe that your listings were removed in error, submit your dispute through your "Account Health" page

You advised that the listing in question was never intended to be listed in Canada, however due to unforeseen circumstances it was migrated to the Canada Marketplace causing a restricted product policy violation. Where I do understand the current situation is less than ideal, I want to share some guidance and information on how to address the violation.

The synchronization of this ASIN to Canada is a result of our build international listings tool, which automatically migrates listings from one source regions to other target regions. Since the ASIN was not intended to be listed in Canada, this would suggest that a connection between your regional listings exists. If you do not wish to see other listings automatically migrated to another region, I advise reviewing our process on removing a connection. If you want to be more specific in your efforts, you may also exclude offers or specific products. I know you mentioned that you have already updated your "listings" but I wanted to make sure your settings were established to help prevent any long term situations.

Surrounding this situation, I do have to advise that we do not accept "appeals or a plan of action" for a restricted product policy violation. We will only be able to accept proof of compliance with a valid dispute. This particular situation requires product safety testing documents to ensure they meet Health Canada's requirements, this would be why you received the response you shared and seen in the case. Due to the requirements, as mentioned this violation can only be addressed with the required documentation, without these documents the violation will remain for 180-days after the date it was originally received on. If you are able to obtain the mentioned documentation to verify compliance, the violation can be resolved and listing reinstated.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
