Anyone have tried the based-rule bidding in ads?

What are your impressions/thoughts? How long did you wait to see good results if any? Any good/bad experience with it?

We are trying it now for the first time with old campaigns with lots of data and it's going crazy right now, don't know what to think, it is just testing some things and will eventually become a viable option.

Thanks for sharing.

I do it all the time and its all good experiance.

For example I set performance based rules that adjust the budget based on the ROAS.

This is confusing, ROAS is not a percentage.

For us, we will manually adjust the placement or target more often than the bid. Just depends on the competition, if we have a new launch, if we are focusing on brand level campaigns with NTB goals etc..

I've been considering testing this out, how is your trial going?
