In order to be successful on Amazon, you have to sell a product that people want to buy, at a price they want to pay, with a shipping time that works for them. Once that basic requirement is met, you should have a lot of success on Amazon.

1-in demand
2-purchase it from a reputable supplier/wholesaler at a low cost
3-selling high volume of units at a profitable price
Build your catalogue wide, not deep and replenish based on profitability.
