Invalid Credit Card but money was withdrawn off account

Good Morning

I set up my business credit card (Visa) no issue.

It deducted two charges from my account.

Several days later I get credit card invalid.

However, logging a ticket for support /does not work/ All support keeps doing is sending me generic template copies about setting up cards, not reading that money has been deducted already, and then closing the ticket before I can reply.

Please assist

Amazon will take funds from a card that they will not recognize as acceptable to activate your selling account. Usually this will be due to seller using a debit card.

Hello @Seller_EBnxLUV4wTRh7,

Thanks for your post. My apologies on the frustration that this may have caused. What @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6blhas posted is correct and the most common issue for invalid credit cards in a sellers account.

Accepted credit cards

We accept the following credit cards:

  • American Express
  • Diners Club
  • Discover
  • JCB
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

Note: We do not accept alternative charge methods, such as prepaid cards, gift certificates, checks, or online payment systems like PayPal.

You cannot delete the credit or debit card that you designated as your primary payment method, but you can add a new card or select a different card from the list of cards you have entered in your seller account. You can also designate another card as your primary payment method, in order to delete your former primary payment method.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Make sure the card on file is a real credit card and not a debit card.

Let me know if you have additional questions. have a great weekend.

Cheers,

Micah
