transition from a generic brand to your own brand
Does anyone made a transition from a generic brand to your own brand ? Amazon support told me that I should delete my listings and make new ones with the same sku and the same ID product.
They said that the listing won't lose the ranking or reviews, but I have done that before, I deleted a listing, that was selling good, in order to fix a translation problem on an international listing, I made a new one using the same SKU but the problem wasn't fixed and the sales went absolutely down.
Does anyone has similar problems? Any suggestions?

What they told you about deleting and recreating the item listing under your brand name is what you will have to do. I think though someone may have misinformed you about keeping rankings though. You basically will be starting over from scratch in trying to gain visibility and sales from what I have seen on this platform.

Hey there @Seller_EVeRZbpNpM6Zr
Jumping in here to hopefully provide some more information!
We do not support the re-branding of products. If you would like to have your products be associated with this new brand, new ASINs will be needed.
I'm assuming you already have inventory for the generic listing so I have seen sellers here in the Forums decide to sell through most of that inventory before setting up new listings to not lose out on sales.
If you have any other questions, please let me know!
