No USPS Ground Advantage from East -> West Coast

Normally on Wednesdays I have no problems sending packages with ground advantage. However today, every single order going to the west coast has to be priority... what is going on

We’re having the same issues. Amazon is even showing carriers that we never use as an option. Any advice?

Amazon is silently rolling out what they are calling "Promise Extensions." Basically, Amazon chooses what estimated delivery time YOUR customer is seeing. Also, Amazon recently rolled out automated handling time, so they get to choose that, as well.

Basically, sellers no longer have control over what we are promising our customers for delivery times...

Additionally, what I'm finding is that our expedited and premium shipping options are no longer being displayed to customers. I had a relative (in the same state as our distribution center) check the estimated delivery times on Amazon, and they (we) were showing 7-9 days!!!

This is absolutely insane. Amazon, can you just charge me another fee to display the correct delivery time?

Hello @Seller_8WD90AQIKKxcQ @Seller_aQawIuSkSJZ2Y and @Seller_aQfYOntqEgb0r I apologize for the delay in responding to this thread.

Our partner teams work with carriers to monitor shipping service performance and provide accurate delivery estimates to sellers and buyers.

Based on our monitoring, we recently extended USPS Ground Advantage transit times, which led to it no longer having a high likelihood of meeting the delivery promise for some orders. This was more likely to be the case for longer-distance deliveries.

Sellers can also purchase their preferred shipping service outside of Buy Shipping if it is not available, as long as the service meets the delivery promise.
