help with my wrong category

Hello

We need your URGENT help to fix the issue with the incorrect Category of our listing.

As a brand-registered seller we have created several cases to Amazon Seller Support and Amazon Brand Registry Support, and keep receiving the same reply on every case: “We’ve reviewed your suggestion and are unable to accept the suggested Category browse node change to ASIN: B0…. This product is assigned to the current Category based on the detail page and how Amazon customers find products through search and browse.”

The right category is Toys & Games > Dolls & Accessories > Dollhouses,and the category code is 166147011 and my competitors are in this category .

It is a very serious issue for our business. We are losing the indexing and ranking for the relevant keywords, and Amazon customers cannot discover our product in the correct Category and search results for the relevant keywords.

We need your urgent help to fix this issue.

We request you to please investigate this issue and take some urgent actions to update the correct Category as soon as possible.

Hi there @Seller_wxz2aAy7oSOc7- thanks for surfacing this through forums. I took a look at the provided Case ID and might have a pathway for you to correct this yourself.

The products all currently share the 'Product Type' of 'Bookend'. You can update this attribute from your end, it's also worth noting that using a feed file can help the change process through the Amazon ecosystem better.

Once the product type attribute is updated, it should either be fixed automatically or it will be an easier process to make the change with support.
