How to create Makeup Gift Set Product Listing?

Hi,

I need guidance on creating a new product listing for a Gift Set that does not have its own trademark or barcode. The set includes multiple products that have already been individually listed on Amazon with their own barcodes.

I do not want to list it as a Bundle, but instead as a new standalone product with its own ASIN. Since the packaging itself does not have a barcode, what would be the best approach to list this product successfully?

Would applying for a GTIN Exemption be the right solution? Or is there another way to proceed?

Appreciate any advice on this. Thank you!

That would be a violation. This would HAVE TO BE a bundle and follow bundling policies.

Hi @Seller_tyWUb1oNbwPPY,

Let me share what Amazon's Consumables Bundle Policy says about this. According to Amazon's Bundle Policy, for beauty and personal care products, there are two ways to create a gift set:

First, you could use manufacturer-packaged sets. Under "Consumables Bundle Guidelines," the policy states that "the bundle must be a product configuration packaged by the original manufacturer or brand." This means you can't create your own configuration, even if all products are from the same brand.

However, there is an exception that might work for you. In the same section, the policy mentions you can create gift baskets that include "products from multiple brands that are physically bundled together for customers in a manner that is appropriate for serving as a gift." This would need to be listed specifically in the gift basket category.

One important note - the policy explicitly states that using a UPC from any individual product in your set is not allowed and could get your listing removed.

Best regards, Michael
