How Can I Beat Sold By Amazon Without Dropping Price

Its so annoying, I see that Amazon is selling many of the units I sell & they'll always trail behind my price by a few cents.

Despite my price being cheaper by a few cents & having good account health they get the buy box the vast majority of the time. My only option is to drastically undercut their price.

Is it possible, maybe with automatic pricing or something like that, to show Amazon's system that I will always be willing to sell for a dollar less then them so that I am far enough away to get the buy box to prevent them from dropping their prices or absurdly low levels automatically?

Also does Amazon make any attempt to fairly share sales with other sellers or is their system designed to only hand out a few token sales to prevent monopoly accusations. I notice the second Amazon starts selling the same product that I lose like 90% of the sales volume despite being a few cents cheaper.

Buyers have greater trust in amazon versus 3rd party sellers. For a few cents most will go with trusted rather than gambling.

Without dropping price, you just have to wait until amazon is out of stock and/or their delivery time is weeks away. I've had items sell for more than amazon's price, because I had stock that could be delivered now, when amazon was promising to have some in a couple of weeks..

You can't beat them woithout driving the price so low you loose money. Amazon is attempting to drive 3rd party sellers off thier platform so they will continue to add to their own catalogue and gate products until they have removed us all and can control price on the entire website.

Hey you havent figured it out yet that Amazon doesnt make enough millions they have to get in on your game as well ever notice that when an item becomes hot Amazon jumps in goes direct to the manufacture and undercuts the poor seller thats trying to make a buck I say that is not only not fair but as well a low blow and should not be allowed Amazon is in business to list items on their site same as Ebay on behalf of a small reseller and not to compete with the reseller DISCUSTING

If Amazon decides to take you on as a competitive seller it is doubtful you will beat them at this game. They have the edge in acquisition cost and their own bots do not apply the same rules to them as they apply to you.

Example:

They penalise a merchant for insufficient detail in the listing - yet create their own listings with a two-word single bullet point and description.

They change the listing detail and images to suit their inventory.

They can sell at a price you cannot match.

My advice - stay away from Amazon competitive listings. Let them lose money on it - their bots are not clever enough to work that one out!

It's simple, you cannot. In my testing if you drop .01 less, they will match you and it's a race to zero. I believe to make money on Amazon the product has to be unique and not sold by others including Amazon.
